About the Creator

Born in Taichung, Taiwan. Currently, Kate is a freelance artist and graphic designer

With years of hands-on experience in acrylic painting and fashion design.

She has been exploring a series of playful streetwear combined with sportswear.

In 2020, Kate established Kate White Studio. In 2024, Studio Kuchen was created as an additional outlet.

About Studio Kuchen

The name “Kuchen”, meaning cake in German, was inspired by our time in Berlin—a city known for its diversity, individuality, and bold artistic energy. Just like a cake with many layers, each design we create holds a story—a memory, a culture, an emotion.

Our studio is rooted in Taipei, shaped by the freedom and creativity of Berlin, and currently growing in the eclectic spirit of London. This fusion of cities reflects in our work: a mix of softness and edge, tradition and experimentation, detail and spontaneity.
